Training to obtain the qualification CRI ME SPA

The target of the CRI(SPA) training is to prepare the pilot to provide the training in order to obtain the qualification according to the type or class of the single engine airplanes.

Passing the CRI(ME SPA) training is a condition to provide the training on multi engine aircrafts MEP(L).

The CRI(A) training comprises of 50 hours of theoretical study, 5 hours on airplane MEP(L).


Requirements to commence the training

Before the applicant receives the approval to commence the training for qualification of flight instructor CRI(A), he/she must have for CRI(ME):
  • minimum 500 hours in the air on aircrafts
  • minimum 30 hours as PIC on specified type or class of aircraft, out of which 10 hours must be flown in the time frame of last 12 months
