Modul training to obtain the commercial pilot license CPL(A)

The module training to obtain the qualification license of business pilot CPL(A) target is to train the private pilot (holder of PPL(A) licence) to the level of professional qualification required to obtain the qualification license CPL(A). 

Entry requirements to start the training:

Before the commencement of the module training CPL (A), the applicant must hold valid qualification license PPL(A), issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1 and to have a minimum 150 hours in the air as a pilot. 


The training process

The applicant must undertake the approved the theoretical study training, which must include minimum 200 hours of training. 
In case the applicant has passed the theoretical study course, required to obtain the CPL(A), in any other approved organization, or has passed the theoretical study course ATPL(A) and has obtained the leaving certificate, the theoretical study will be accepted. 

The training program is divided into 3 phases:
  • I. training phase: 15 hours (training done as per the rules of VFR flights)
  • II. training phase: 10 hours (flights as per the engines/machines) based of the VMC rules
  • III. Training phase: 5 hours (training VFR night)

The module training CPL can be adjusted based on previous experiences of the applicant, as per the following:
  • if the applicant is the qualification VFR night holder, the training will comprise from phase I. and II. only
  • if the applicant is the IFR qualification holder, the training will comprise only from phase I.

It is possible to fly the phase III. of the training program as an individual training to obtain the qualification VFR night. The applicant must be a holder of valid PPL qualification license, issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1 and to have a total air raid of minimum 50 hours, out of which minimum 25 hours must be as the pilot in command. 


Obtained license

Once the training is finished, the pilot will take the exam and obtain the commercial pilot license, which enables him to do the commercial flights.
