The entry conditions:
Minimum age required: 17 years of age
Medical check-up of minimum II. Grade
The training process
The flight training comprises of theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, it is prescribed to undertake minimum 80 lessons there and the practical part comprises of 45 flight hours.
The training program is individual and is based on the requirement and abilities of the applicant.
Pilots – students use the radio communication on the flight frequencies during the flights and that is why is required for them to obtain the radio-operator certificate. This exam comprises of the following subjects:
- telecommunication law
- radio and electrotechnics
- telecommunication operation
- telecommunication rules
Applicants already holding the above mentioned certificate are not required to undertake the exam.
Obtained qualification
Once the training is finished, the student undertakes the final exams at the Aviation Authority of Slovak Republic and obtains the qualification Private Pilot License.
This license does not authorize the holder to maneuver the aircraft in commercial operation .This license is solely for private use.
